We are a Kenyan community and friends who pray together and celebrate Mass in Kiswahili and together we proclaim the Risen Lord. We believe that the Lord calls us to know him as the source of life. We also believe that the same Lord sends us forth to build life-giving communities, to teach others to love life and to engage in activities which transform our worlds so that there may be life after all.
Our parish priest is Fr. Komu Mathenge, works together with Fr. Charles Bourke in Winthrop, Fr. Guy in Lowell and Fr. Lou Palmieri in North Quincy.
Our mission of faith is to:
Seek to know God: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit as he has revealed himself to us in the Bible.
We seek to love God in prayer especially during Mass and in our own private prayer.
We seek to serve God by living in accordance with his will. We each try in our own individual lives to model ourselves on Christ’s self-sacrificing love: serving others charitably, dealing with others justly and being hospitable to others.
Small Christian groups. These groups are comprised of families which meet in individual homes for prayer and fellowship mostly each sunday in each outstation i.e Lowell, N.Quincy and Winthrop
